I have a counseling practice in Melbourne on each Thursday and see clients from a room at the Well Being Centre at the Abbotsford Convent. I specialise in working with clients at midlife or beyond. If you would like to see me and can bring a referral to me from your GP you are first of all entitled to 6 sessions with a rebate of approximately $80 from Medicare with the possibility of 6 more sessions.

My charge is $200 for each session, so for each session the personal cost to you is approximately $120. And of course you may only need a couple of sessions. I also have a telephone counseling practice however for this service there is no rebate.
